About Lynnel

Lynnel is an accomplished business owner and award winner with an extensive background and “hands-on” experience in the parks and playground industry including but not limited to; training, inspection and testing, consultancy and advice, sales, design, certification, repairs and maintenance. 

She is a highly motivated educator and self-starter with a dedicated commitment to the industry, clients, students and their professional development.

Lynnel works hard to ensure courses and content is current and delivered to the highest standards, expectations, industry practice and requirements.  She is passionate about child development, “the right to play” and child safety, whilst recognizing the importance and need of risk-taking.

Lynnel is enthusiastic and devoted in supporting every students to successfully attain their desired outcomes.

  • About Grant

    Grant Humphreys has been involved in the playground industry since 1988. Grant started the Impact testing industry with the Uniaxe Guided rail system and now imports the Wireless Value Blue Impact tester. Acousto-Scan tests and certifies the bark and rubber attenuation surfaces used today in playgrounds to AS4422, as well as climbing gyms and sporting surfaces, including basketball flooring and tennis court surfaces.

Acousto-Scan

Acousto-Scan is a NATA, ILAC and ISO 17025 laboratory accredited to certify playground attenuation surfaces and natural and artificial sporting surfaces. Acousto-Scan is a certified test institute for all international sporting bodies for FIFA, WR, FIH, FIBA, ITF. AFL/CA , WB, etc. Acousto-Scan has a global presence testing sporting surfaces.

  • Member of the Playground Standards Committee CS005 and Sports and Recreational EquipmentCS101. 
  • Vice President of the Sports and Playground Institute of Australia (SAPIA)
  • Grant has the experience and expertise to Train people for Impact attenuation for AS 4422(Int):2022 and AS 4685.0:2017.
