We are pleased to announce an exclusive in-person training opportunity co-hosted by Mount Isa Council and surrounding Councils in North West Queensland. This certified training event is designed to support local professionals in developing recognised skills in playground safety and inspection.
Due to the limited availability of expert trainers in Australia, this is the only in-person training event in this region for 2025. After this session, only online self-paced or live stream formats will be available. If you prefer hands-on, face-to-face learning with access to real-time trainer support, we strongly recommend attending this Mount Isa event.

Level 1 Routine Visual Inspector

This introductory course is ideal for anyone responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and visual monitoring of play spaces. You will learn to identify obvious hazards, assess basic wear and tear, and understand the principles of routine visual inspections according to AS 4685.0:2017.

This two-day course is designed for professionals undertaking regular or annual inspections and post-installation assessments. The training provides full coverage of the 9 Australian Playground Safety Standards, risk assessment procedures, reporting, and compliance.
