Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you register formerly or EOI for a CPSIA course or sign up with PSIA membership. It also has information on how we store, use, transfer and delete that information. We aim to comply with the privacy law and also respect the trust you have with us and the information you provide.

 

Confidentiality 

Information and details you provide us in any of our online/pdf forms, over email, and/or verbal communication will not be transferred or sold to third parties except in the circumstances stated in data usage. 

Requirement

In order to provide training, or our services to you, information provided in your registration and/or sign up forms or EOI, is collected (such as your name, email address, mobile and work or personal postal address). Other information, we collect from actions taken after registration or at course attendance (such as attendance signature, private email or mobile, or update of personal details – e.g. left a company you registered with).

We use this information to:

  • Provide you course information, assessment details and further communication
  • Marketing of future courses or CPSIA certificate expiration notification

 

Information Disclosure

PSIA will not transfer or sell any information without your consent.

Information provided at registration and before course closure will be transferred to our WA RTO (for all WA non-re-certification attendees). 

 

Public Data

PSIAs Certified Playground Safety Inspector register provides the following information on students to the public: attendee initials, CPSIA level obtained, CPSIA registration number and CPSIA certificate expiration date. You are given the opportunity to opt out of PSIA code of ethics (your certificate number and expiration date will remain) at any time with our non-disclosure form.

PSIA membership sign up requires you to abide to our PSIA Membership Terms and Conditions, information provided at sign up will be posted publicly, if you do not agree with this, do not submit this form for our directory. The following membership information must be public: student contact name, CPSIA cert number, state or territory(s), services provided, business or organisation name, ABN and form of contact.

When your PSIA membership subscription has ended, your advert will be removed automatically from the site and our records. Membership information will be retained by PSIA for the lifetime of your membership.

If you do not agree with this public usage, do not create an account or use these features of the Services.

PSIA will preserve and maintain copies of your information beyond course closure and RTO resulting due to ….

When your PSIA membership ends any data stored on the site or in our personal record is removed.

 

Modifying or Deleting Membership Information

If you have a membership with PSIA, you can:

  1. Request to modify or export your personal information
  2. Request to correct information
  3. You may withdraw consent by requesting to delete your account at any time

You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes. All changes to the policy are effective immediately and applicable to all students.

Data Security

We use encryption (https/tls) to protect data transmitted to and from our site. Please note that no data transmission on the internet is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee security. Your use of PSIA membership is at your own risk and you are responsible for taking reasonable measures to secure your account.

We will not email you to ask for your password or other account information. If you receive such an email please do not interact with the email and contact us immediately so we can investigate.
