Host a Training Course
Let's work together.
Playground safety training is a common request from education departments, councils, and playground companies in Australia. PSIA is able to offer CPSIA training courses at your premises and enables you with up to 15% discount on all registrations and additional saved costs on accommodation and travel for your staff if they were to attend an alternate training location.
Purpose
Certified Playground Safety Inspector Australia (CPSIA) courses are intended to provide training for individuals interested in becoming competent in playground operation, design, selection, installation, inspection, maintenance, record keeping, and the management of play environments providing students with the confidence to examine, design, select and maintain play environments to comply with current Standards Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the industry benchmark of having inspectors and those involved with playgrounds deemed competent and therefore protect the user, minimise risk of injury, ensure compliance and maintenance identification and corrections, including the development of comprehensive management programs and documentation and forward planning to comply with current Standards.
The PSIA Difference
Our main point of difference is our trainer, Lynnel Crockart who is a National and International qualified inspector with thousands of playground inspections and surface testing, and 30 years of experience behind her.
Our trainer is a highly experienced professional who is actively providing industry consultation and advice, inspection and testing of playgrounds across Australia. Students will receive and can discuss current industry issues, practices and actual situations and how to best manage them with one of the most experienced and go to trainers in Australia.
Lynnel is highly passionate about this industry and child safety in both the public and private sector along with the importance and need of risk-taking, safe developmental fun and educational play in the playground and this too adds value to the training.
Playground Safety Inspectors Australia is a small business, when you support us you are supporting a dream. You will not find a trainer more passionate about playground safety.

FAQ
Can I register under CPSIA Re-Certification after the expiration date?
CPSIA re-certification price is only applied if a student registers for a course that commences before the advised expiration date or as advised by PSIA. If your attempt to register for a course is impacted (e.g. Covid-19 or we have not made a course available) we will extend this discount. Please contact our team if you wish to discuss this further.
I am unsure if I want to enroll as Level 1-2 or Level 1-3, how do I proceed?
If you are unsure what course may be best for you, please do not hesitate to contact our team for guidance.
Do your courses cover the installation process?
As installation can vary from manufacturers and designers, the industry generally relies on the manufacturer to supply the installation instructions, for example, in the state of QLD and some organisations from state to state may require the playground installer to hold a landscape construction certificate at minimum. Our training focuses on compliance of installation to Australian Standards, and on inspection to ensure playgrounds after installation is signed off by an auditor.
Do you (or PlayRight) still supply inspection kits?
PlayRight and Playground Safety Inspectors Pty Ltd no longer supply safety inspection/testing tools/kits – however we recommend you purchase from KOMPAN in your state. Note: allow 5 weeks for delivery
